The modules and patches in the Vintage Vault 2 are hands down the BEST sampled/Synth library I HAVE EVER HEARD. I have to say that although Kontakt has the greatest amount 3rd party libraries and the biggest following of any soft-sampler, UVI not only sounds better sonically, the effects are also better sounding, they also do a phenomenal job with sound design for their sponsored libraries. I suspect the UVI playback engine is indeed better than Kontakt's, while some suspect that its the effects. This is coming from someone whos been working extensive with both for years (been using Kontakt since v2). UVI libraries (for a lack of better term) sound more ' Alive' in comparison. Am I just hearing things?You're not just hearing things, UVI Libraries DO sound noticeably better than Kontakt libaries. I love Kontakt and find it to sound very nice, but again, UVI libraries just seem to stand out to my ears. Is it just me, or does UVI sound a bit better than Kontakt? Every time I load up a UVI library, it seems to stand out to my ears in comparison to Kontakt libraries.
